Why in the world does my smartphone think its down in Austin, Texas right now? We haven't been through there in years.
Found out when I went to check the weather map to see when its supposed to possibly rain. The little blue dot that marks our location swung from where we are way down South to Austin...

Can you tell it to relocate? There's some swivel-shake-twist thing you do to get the phone oriented. I'll have to drag out my phone and try to see what's up with mine.

What I originally did after it dragged me down to Austin, was to add my hometown zip to the weathermap function. then I posted here and texted a friend to vent about it.I did a reset on it and left it alone for a couple hours at her suggestion. Seems to have worked, Li'l Autobot is happy now.
Granted, I got a pop up the other day alerting me that I hadn't done a reset in over a week. I ignored it. Been having tech issues with other stuff (landline, tv, Stargazer the laplet) and really didn't want to mess with it -- mostly because I don't think I've done a reset on Li'l Autobot before and, quite frankly, it sounded like "dress in purple feathers and swing the phone over your head in a pair of L'Eggs during a full moon while you scream like a chicken" sort of thing. (too much effort and it would startle the neighbors)

Lol! That's exactly what it's like. Tilt the phone forward and backward. Swivel it. Tilt it left and right. Keep going! (Keep jiggling, Peggy, keep jiggling! www.youtube.com/watch?v=gr2LIev65bU )
