Wow. The 'human' ones move like humans - for a second or two here and there I thought I was watching people in costumes - the 'dog' moves like a dog and the 'giant chicken' moves like a chicken. Very cool. The dance moves were obviously programmed in, but the parkour video (linked in the article) made me wonder if it's programming or if the machine can determine what it should do at a given point.

From what I've read on these guys in the past, at least the earlier models, they are able to figure out how to get around "in the wild" since they were supposed to be human helpers. So, presumably, the parkour is Atlas given the task of going from Point A to Point B with all those obstacles in the way.
Did you notice that the dogbot was "singing" along with the song while dancing?
